(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear, dark amber golden with a small, white head. Aroma of caramel and a whiff of butter. Medium body with malty accents, a lightly nutty touch and a vaguely fusty edge. Rather hoppy finish. Not completely fresh. 150807

50 cL bottle. Pours orange with a white lacing head. Buttery malty aroma. Grainy and malty flavor, semidry. Malty finish. Uninteresting.

Der Anfang des Bieres ist mild geraten, erst im Mittelteil erwacht das Bier durch eine würzige Note, zusätzlich leicht grasig. Im Vergleich zu anderen Lagerbieren unterscheidet sich dieses durch seine nicht so sehr süffigem dafür intensivere Art, die im Mittelteil durch das malzige Aroma untersützt wird. Im Nachgeschmack herber werdend, aber frisch bleibend. Zuletzt meldet sich der etwas süße Hopfen. Test vom 26.8.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,11,10,10,8,10 - 9,95

Golden color. Hay aroma. Soft mouthfeel, sweet, with a mixed malt, hay and honey flavor, too much for me. Correct bitterness.

Bottle. Clear amber color with a average frothy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel. toffee, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

(swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a short, slightly off-white foamy head. Medium-sweet honey-like and grainy malt aroma with spicy hops in the background. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, pleasantly smooth carbonated mouthfeel. Malty and herbal hoppy taste with a honey-ish fruity tinge; dry and bitter, moderately spicy and herbal hoppy finish. Good Keller-/Landbier.

Draught. Rag aroma. Clear golden colour. Malty flavour. A bit citric in the good way. Medium to high bitterness, slightly rough. The aftertaste has some flowery aroma hops.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden coloured, small lacing, slowly diminishing white head; clean deep grainy (doughy) sweet nose with a herbal hoppy touch; robust bitter-sweet flavour, low carbonation; dry, a bit barnyardy, grainy-malty finish with a lingering bitterness. Well crafted "rural" beer !
