Our American Brown Ale is brewed with four different malts and hop additions consisting of East Kent Goldings, Willamette and Liberty. This is the best American Brown Ale in the World. Light on the palate. Rich mahogany color. Subtle coffee and cocoa notes balanced with a pleasant bitterness. It's chocolate brown in color with a creamy texture. A malty beer with just enough hop presence to keep it from being too sweet. It has an original gravity of 13 degrees Plato.

Bottle, many thanks HuskerTan! Clear brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa powder, simple but good. Taste is chocolate, a touch earthy, mineraly, with a fairly dry, almost chalky finish. Oily, a bit mineraly, mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Good one!

Bottle, thanks Tanner! Dark chestnut , low off-white lace. Grassy, leafy, licorice roast, light chocolate, toffee. Medium light mellow body, honey retronasal. A bit thin and tinny in the end.

[12oz bottle from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] An opaque brown beer with a ring of white head; malty aroma; quite dry in the mouth to start, then a peppery burn with some heat and a chocolatey body; before an unusually dry finish. Not a cloying as many brown ales.

355ml bottle. Clear, dark brown colour with wonderful ruby glimmer and average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly earthy, nutty, malty aroma, hints of Brazil nut. Taste is dry, nuttily malty, minimally fruity hoppy, a touch of dark cherry.

Bottle, thanks to HuskerTan. Pours dark brown with reddish tint against the light, large foamy light beige head, faint roasted malt aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter roasted malt taste, thin body, longish finish. Nice brew.
