Poker is in our blood. In fact it is a true urban legend that our brewery was founded with money won in a poker game. But unlike a poor sucker dealt Aces and Eights - known as The Dead Mans Hand - were still alive and kicking. Just like the hoppy zip in every mouthful of this American- style Brown Ale.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. Dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of citric hops and brown malts, hints of tropical fruits and pine too. Pleasant flavour, notes of brown malts but not sweet despite hints of caramel and brown bread, nice citric / fruity and spicy hops, well balanced.

Brun med offwhitw skum. Karamell, malt i lukt. Karamell og noe kaffe i smak. Noe søtlig avslutning.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Frothy beige head over a deep dark brown body, spotty lacing. Promising brown malty aromas, earthy. Caramel and nuts to the taste buds followed by a piney twist towards the ending. Medium plus bodied. Likable. (Tromsø 30.01.2021).
