0.33 l bottle from local ’trinkgut’, best before March 2017. Clear, amber with a medium large, quite dense and slightly creamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity and a little resiny aroma of orange jam, apricot and some pine. Slightly bitter, only minimally sweetish, moderately fruity and a bit resiny taste of orange jam, apricot, a bit of straw and some pine, followed by a rather long, resiny, quite bitter and very dry finish. Medium body, quite creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Not really my kind of IPA, lacks fruitiness and is too pronounced on the dry-bitter finish. Not bad at all, but I couldn’t drink that much of it.

Pours clear light amber from the bottle. Leaves a sudsy, sticky head that lingers. Moderate lacing. As promised, the aroma is a boquet of berry. Strawberry. Cherry. As the session proceeds the caramel malt comes through with increasing strength. Dry, bitter, light alcohol taste. More bitterness in the finish. Not much else going on. Okay.
