Classic Collection. The alcohol percentage is closer to wine, but this brew is made of barley in stead of grapes. The combination of different types of malt gives the beer its unique taste. Full-bodied and well balanced.

2 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Hazy brown, lasting, very thin, off-white head. Aroma of toffee, dried orange peel, brioche, raisin, dried apricot, sweet liquorice. Taste has sweet toffee, brioche, filled with candied raisin, banana, orange, herbal & spicy liquorice accent. Malty finish, lingering dried fruit, vague herbal hops & warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Too sweet in the nose, the rest is quite okay.

Plums, apples leading into caramel. Would be a good bonfire night beer

Thanks to Jef V. For this bottle. Heavy sweetness, well balanced alcohol. Dried fruits, less hops.
