Can shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Nice clear red with a pinkish head. Aroma of cherry-flavored Hubba Bubba bubblegum. Sweet sugary cherry Hubba Bubba flavor, with a light tart note. Quite sweet and sugary, but really OK.

Can, slightly stiff bubbly creamy head, clear deep Red color, aroma of cherry juice with some marzipan and a light malty hint, cherry and marzipan flavor, just a hint of bitterness that becomes stronger and a bit coarse, light sourness, medium sweetness. Not Much of a beer, But still quite nice.

Can @ Home. Pours deep red with a huge pink head, lacings. Aroma of sweet cherry, almond, marcipan, vanilla. Flavor is rather sweet, sugar, fruity, cherries, almond, little marcipan. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish. Sweet and a bit sticky, but actually drinkable still. 250916

Pours ruby red, topped with a medium big pink-white head, slowly settling. Very lovely sweet syrupy aroma, lots of cherries. Taste starts sweet and syrupy followed by a soury cherry feel and some weird earthy finish. Besides the finish, nice and tasty.

Can, 0.50, courtesy of ex co-workers. Pours clear ruby color with thin soapy pink head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of cherries, sour cherries, bubblegum, vegetables and some skunk. Taste starts with sweet cherries, wild berries and light burnt sugar. following is malty and grassy, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Slightly better than European radlers, but too artificial...

Pours clear ruby red color with thick and pink head. Smell is mostly sour cherry with some malts lurking in the background. Medium body with lively carbonation. Watery texture. Aroma is mostly sour with subtle bitternes. Taste is sour cherry, sugar, syrup, candy. Overall, tasty and refreshing cherry juice. Not much beer in it, tho.

50cl can from Rimi, Tallinn. Pours clear red with a very short-lived pink head. Fairly intense cherry juice aroma with almonds and not so much other things. More like children soda, like the red one we have in Norway. Some acidity, but mostly sweet. Somewhat drinkable and possibly refreshing if in the right mood.

Pours deep red with a frothy head that comes down slowly and really sticks to the glass, leaving some nice lacings. Aroma is sweet and soapy, some bubblegum and sweet cherry candy. Taste feels like drinking syrup, not really any hops, just some sweet drink with some cherries thrown in. Aftertaste is still sweet, some cherry sweetness sticking on my tongue and just not leaving. Overall, too sweet for me, does not really feel like a beer and definitely not as a kriek. Well, maybe some kind of kriek but a pretty bad kind. Eh, just too sweet...
