Bottle at last THT at Kwartje. Very lively. Bit hazy mahogany. Very sweet sugary figs, brown sugar, raisins, PX sherry, vanilla, alcohol, dates, soft sour cola, oak. Very sweet, more sweet, light bitter and very light sour. Nice, but sooooo sweet.

Bottle shared by Pilsnertest. Chestnut brown with beige head. Insanely sweet with loads of dates, prunes. Some spices, red wine. Borderline flemish red, but not really tart. Weird, challenging, and tasty.
Annie's first quad? Very sweet but hits the desire for something strong tonight nicely, really smooth light boozy, definitely lots of date notes, date juice with some Sherry barrel hints upfront, some coppery hints on the finish.

Pours dark brown, no head. Smell is mildly smoked, dried daded. Fairly intense, yet straight forward. Taste is full, fleshy, fruity, very mild tartness... Oh so complex, and totally against expectations ( I really dislike smoke) this was my favorite of the 2020 fellowships ... I can only imagine how much one who loves smoke could love this beer. Amazing beer.

Deep brown colour, creamy beige foam. Very complex nose of dried fruit (plums, dades), apple compote, red wine, sherry. Rather sweet but so complex. Very nice sipper.
Nice...but not completely balanced. Too young in my opinion. Will age the other Smaug bottle for some years.
