0.33l bottle at Base Camp. Clear full golden body, white head. Malty aroma, bit flowery and mildly herbal, stale. Herbal, eggy taste, malty, vaguely flowery, ending lightly alcoholic and mildly yolky and bitterish.

Bottle, picked up from Appel Getränkemarkt, Moosburg and consumed at home after the brilliant beer & food tasting at Hotel Ostermeier, Gütlsdorf, Saturday 27th November 2021. Pours dark gold in colour, not perfectly clear, mid sized white head. Quite sweet from the off, honey taste, hops lacking. Full bodied but in a rather flabby kind of way, a little spiciness detected, maltiness. It's okay but a bit of a 'one trick pony'.

Flasche gekauft im Maibock Probierpaket. Helles gelb-gold, leicht angetrübt, eine dünne Schicht Schaum. Aroma: Malz, Karamell, etwas kalter Kaffee. Geschmack: mittlere bis mittelstarke süße, Honig, Malz, Nuss, Karamell, cremig. Wenig bitter.

Erl-Bräu Helles Bockerl, Fläschchen aus Mixpaket vom Biershop Bayern. - Lichtes Goldbraun, klar. - In der Nase sämiges doch wenig süßes, kernig gerstiges helles Malz mit bocktypischer Schwere, zart rauchig, und verhaltene doch gediegene zitrusfruchtig-herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk füllig und schwer hellmalzig mit deutlicher Gerste, Honig und intensiver doch nicht aufdringlicher Malzsüße, ausbalanciert durch frische Hopfung mit Limette, Gras und mediterranen Kräutern. Milder rezent, vollmundig, ölig schwer; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang leicht trockene, feine Kräuterherbe. - Frischer, kernig malziger und aromatisch gehopfter Bock. Sauber. (4.8.2020.)

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts, honey, honeycomb, grassy. Taste is honeycomb, a bit grassy. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Decent Maibock!

Fast klare goldene Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch floral hopfig bitter. Geschmack süß malzig, getreidig bitter, naja. Earlier Rating: 2/10/2014 Total Score: 3.1Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig, grasig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr malzig, würzig, leicht süß alkoholisch.
