Our awesome Session IPA is back, revamped and better than ever! A light biscuity malt serves as the platter for a mix of English and American hops, with Citra and EKG taking pole position. Smash-able and tasty.

22/9/2022. Bottle bought mail order direct from the brewery. As Stinky Bay Session IPA 4.2%. Pours clear bright amber with a small frothy just off-white head. Very good looking pour. Aroma is malty, caramel, stewed fruits, citrus, biscuit, touch of veg water. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not bad.

330ml bottle [as Session IPA, courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Slightly cloudy, faint, amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty and leafy, minimally citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of tea, lemon tea, minimally doughy, yeasty overtones. Taste is slightly dry, caramel malty and leafy, minimally citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of tea, lemon tea, no residual sweetness; slightly papery finish with a touch of wet cardboard. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, flat carbonation. Leafy, earthy, a tad insipid - not convincing.
