Tap, Steinkrug. Creamy dense head. Aroma is grassy hops, earthy malts, bready, hay, rustic. Taste is rustic barn, hay, bready, earthy, cereal, very bitter herbal finish. Mineraly mouthfeel with natural carbonation. A very rustic experience, great stuff!

From barrel at Moor. It pours clear amber with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, sticky, sponge cake, muffin, grassy, herbal, sweet, cakey and almond. The taste is slick, soft, sweet, cakey malts, brioche, orange muffin, toasted almond, touch of warmth, orange blossom, biscotti, bead, brioche and candy with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Sounds sweeter than it is. Fun stuff. Flavourful.

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Dorata viva, limpida, schiuma bianca media e persistente. Al naso note di pane, miele, erba tagliata. In bocca è morbidissima, tutta giocata sui malti con finale appena amaro. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Buona.

Bottle 500ml (Timo A’s Fliptop tasting). Golden colour, small white head. Malty, grassy, grainy aroma, ok. Light to medium-bodied. A sweet, earthy and grassy hoppy flavour. Clean, tasty and balanced.

Flasche (50 cl) aus dem Kühlschrank der Brauerei Bayer in Theinheim. - Orangegelb, fast klar (trotz „naturtrüb“). - In der Nase strenger herb orangenfruchtiger fränkischer Hopfen wie bei einem klassischen Kellerbier. - Im Antrunk die perfekte Kombination von leichtem Karamelmalz, hintergründiger Orangenschalenherbe und etwas Gras. Im Abgang leicht blaß und trocken bei konstanter Herbe. - Tiefgründig und dabei von rustikaler Simplizität, ein klassisches Frankenlager.

4 oz pour from gravity keg at ChurchKey. Slightly hazy golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of corn, wheat. Tastes of wheat, corn, malt, light caramel. Light body with a dry finish.
