From bottle @ 2nd BBF. Amis and maple syrup in the aroma and flavor. Tobacco notes. Sweet and sticky. Has quality, but I just couldn’t enjoy it.

Appearance: Transparent black with some ruby notes. A tan head that disappears fast.
Aroma: Chocolate, licorice, fruity and some wird awfull stuff.
Palate: Medium + body. A bit sweet with a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Coffee, fruity, licorice and chocolate. Together with some weird stuff that destroys it totally.
Overall impression: Power bad!

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, spices, and seaweed. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and spices, as well as lighter notes of seaweed and candysugar, leading to a dry, spicy, and tobacco finish. The body is powerful. A whole bottle on my own is a bit much.

Bottle. A clear, reddish dark brown beer with a dense, finger thick, beige head. The aroma has licorice, hints of Stilton blue cheese and some roasted malts. It’s a bit sweet on the palate, with licorice and some roasted malts. Alcohol warmth and some tea as well. Full bodied. Lasting finish with sweetness, licorice, roasted malts and alcohol. A beer that feels a bit unusual, but is quite tasteful and pleasant anyway. I especially like the licorice. 110311
