Explorer is light and refreshing, suffused with the aromas of a grapefruit grove. The citrus attack will burst on your palate as the hops deliver their fruity bitterness.
Available in 500ml bottle and in keg in selected Wetherpoon outlets.
Pale Ale malt is used to provide the biscuity backbone of this blonde beer but it’s the hops that give it its personality. We use two American hops, grown in the Yakima Valley in Washington. These hops, called Columbus and Chinook, add wonderful grapefruit flavours to the beer.

500ml bottle from East of England Co-Op Foodstore, shared with Cunningham on the train from Norwich to Chelmsford. Clear amber coloured body. Covering white head. Caramel malty nose. Malt-fruity flavours of orange, dough and toffee. Rounded bittersweet tail. True to the style and pretty alright. (18.02.2017).

Cask at clerkenwell spoons. Clear golden / light orange coloured pour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is fairly nice hedgerow berry hop with hints on citrus, and mango. Some semi sweet grains on the nose. Palate is smooth and slightly creamy, decent condition. Flavour is semi sweet slightly nutty base grains, berry hop, hints of tangy apple and grass. Good beer.
