Delicious monster IPA, juicy, herbal, and pungent, loads of dank Simcoe goodness mixed with grapefruit, peach, and cantaloupe on top of earth and a grainy sweetness on the back end. Traces of boozy warmth creep in as the pint sits, but a little heat is okay in a 9.5% DIPA. Candied orange zest and berry begin to show up in the fade, yet the moderate resinous bitterness tempers the sweet. One of BI’s best.

Tall can. Cloudy dark yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of fresh citrus, pineapple and pine. Fruity, juicy, nice citrusy bitterness. Does the Double IPA thing well without getting syrupy and hides the alcohol well too.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a hazy gold with a full 2 fingers of foam that linger. Big tropical fruit forward nose with lychee, passion fruit, mango and pineapple juice aromas that are pungent. Pineapple, melon and durian on the palate with some dank and piney bitterness that cuts the sweetness. Quite balanced for 9.5% abv. Lingering tropical fruit and slight dank, piney notes. Solid.
