Growler from Patrick. Second time trying these guys. It’s a light golden color. It smells great. A total grapefruit and pineapple bomb. Solid carb. Dense mouthfeel. Finish is a sweet mango flavor with a little table sugar. Crispy clove and a little salt. Nice.

750ml bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out a hazy straw color topped with a white head. Nose is nice tropical fruits citrus sweetness. Taste is more of the nice tropical fruits citrus sweetness.

Tap into a snifter showing hazy yellow with sparse white foam. The nose shows oranges and hints of pineapple. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Flavors of clean pineapple and juicy pineapple throughout with a light mintiness and slight citric edge.

Built to spill Foam Brewers 8% Super cloudy gold with a timy white head. Soft juicy aroma of fruits and prickly pear. Somewhat aggressively carbonated burns down my throat. Very much a New England ipa with a juicy bitter hopiness. Good stuff. Ap 4 ar 8-9 t 8 p 2 o 14 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

They poured this into a tall tulip.
The appearance was a glossy yellow color with a thin white head. Mild lacing after head dissipation.
The smell started off with a big sweet tropical fruits to a nice resinous underscore of juicy sweet to bitter citrus rind.
The flavor brings about all of the previously mentioned flavors to boot. Exceptional fresh bittersweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sipping quality about it. Carbonation seems good for the style and for me.
Overall, damn nice DIPA that I would love to have again.

Draught at the brewery, 7/8/16.
Heavily hazy, borderline soupy, peachy-gold with a strong brass tint to the body. White head atop is rocky and shows moderate to moderately strong retention.
After the slightly over-adjuncted saison and gose, I was a little nervous, but still hopeful for the best from what I expected to be New England IPAs. Not disappointed. Having Built to Spill and Pavement side-by-side proved to give the edge to Pavement by a noticeable but not huge margin. This one was the more dry, slightly more citric of the two, with more understated, tangy, sweaty citra and pineapple. A bit more sparsely malted, it was still soft in the mouth, yet more dry and considerably less juicy. Still, nothing to scoff at, the hop flavors and aromatics were all developed deftly, with a good knowledge of appropriate bittering additions and a very liberal use of whirl and dry hop. As well, the beer is clean and shows no sign of alcohol.
