After three years of research and experiments (the Lager Lager Lager series), we found our favourite lager recipe. This German-style Pilsner is brewed with traditional German and Czech hopvarieties and 100% pilsner malt for a pleasant body. It's a bottom fermented beer which makes the beer clean and crisp and is lightly dry-hopped to give it subtle grassy and citrus aromas.

(Draught at Oedipus Taproom, Amsterdam, 16 Feb 2019) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grass and hay. Malty taste with notes of bread, hay, grass, a touch of citrus and a mild grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and drinkable but fairly mainstream pale lager. Quite enjoyable.

Clear pale golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, lemon, grain. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, lemon, grass. More bitterness in the aftertaste, malty. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, a light hopped delicate pilsner, very nice.

[5/11/2019] Draught sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2019. Red session. Clear yellow. Grainy, slightly vegetal lager yeast, quite dry, bitterish finish. Decent.

Golden yellow colour, just a hint of haze. Dense white head with a little bit retention. Aroma's of grain and wort with a little fruit retronasal. Flavour is somewhat fruity and light grainish sweet. Light bodied. Not too long finish. Apparently this is here to stay after their Lager Lager Lager series, but imho it's not the best of the series.

Tap at TCBW. Pours slightly hazy yellow. Aroma and flavor are sweet, bitter, grainy, malty. Overall: solid pils, bit on the sweet side.

Tap. Clear golden with white head. Aroma is earthy, sugar icing, herbal. Taste is sugar icing, earthy. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Decent!
