Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear amber to brown colour with small consistent beige top. Aroma of brown bread, caramel, raisin. Taste of caramel, toasted malt, hint of chocolate, mixed dried fruit and a bitter nutty finish. I really like this, has a session quality but still has some complexity to it. An excellent bitter.

October 2020: 500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.1%. Beautiful mahogany colour, large to moderate off-white head. Malty aroma, notes of caramel, brown bread and roasted nuts. Malty flavour too, with the same elements as the aroma, but not too sweet. Decent earthy hops in the finish.

Thanks Simon. Fantastic malty caramel. Very dry bitter with a great mild roasted back. Dry bitter Ale with great caramelly roasted complex full body, fantastic balanced with a slightly hazelnut-sweetish back. Great stuff! Dry caramelly bitter in the end.
