We’ve replaced the wheels of time with barrel heads. They don’t turn, yet they embrace the evolution of beer and time on a level that can’t be rivaled. For this Chronology Series™, we brewed an imperial porter and set it to age in bourbon barrels. Every six months, we’ll take a quarter of the barrels, blend them and bottle them. This second bottling represents the nuances imparted to the base beer after 18 months of barrel-aging.

Fles gedeeld door Keukeman, geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een aroma van Bourbon en vanille. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, Bourbon en cacao.

Bottle at "Johnny's got a new place" beer celebration. Opaque black color, average sized light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, soft roast, sweetish boozy, liquor, vanilla, oh my. Amazing. So soft, so smooth, so good. Amazing.

Bottle, 75cl. An oily one, more or less flat, and black. Boozy aroma with dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, roasted malts and some licorice hints. Wood notes and something close to soy sauce. It's full-bodied, sweet, warming and rather flat on the palate, with flavors of dark sugar, dark chocolate, coffee and caramel. Vanilla, licorice, booze and some soy sauce. Lasting finish with roasted malts, coffee and a good dash of booze. Overall, too boozy this one. But sure nice. 191231
