Icebock comes from the process which concentrates flavours with freezing of the beer. This means that some water crystallises into ice, while the remaining liquid concentrates. For this icebock we brewed a very special barley wine, barrel aged it, blend it with our barley wine Hagger and froze it. After weeks on -24 C, it was time to drain this super rich liquid. Expect intense flavours with longlasting aftertaste and warming feeling.

Bottle. Almost perfectly black. Thin beige ring, nonlasting. Dry fruity nose, some alcohol in the back with woody notes getting more prominent as it warms up. Quite sweet, filled with syrupy dry fruits, but most importantly, not cloying at all. Some milder bitterness to back it up. Silky smooth, fuller body, some alcohol warmth, but not strong. Very fine. Complex, but nicely drinkable. Loved it.
