Overall solid like most SN beers. I'm starting to think that if I'm going to drink a hazy it needs to be a double IPA so there's a little more bitterness doing on. But still these low bitterness hazies are getting out of control, are everywhere, and are displacing regular IPAs on the shelves. Its sad when even SN (one of the originators of the west coast IPA style) is doing it. Not to pick on this beer in particular, but its whats on my mind as I write this. As others noted, this beer had a nice tropical fruit hop profile. Semi-dry with little bitterness, so not quite balanced, but drinkable anyway.

Picked up on sale for like 4-500Β₯, score! Sierra Nevada Big Little Thing Imperial IPA 9% Hoppy dank overripe fruits and sweet tarts. Full bodied with a touch of boozy heat and big sweet tart, Sorachi ace type catpiss notes, rich ripe stone fruits and a bit tangy hop notes. Not so balanced but alright.

Draft. A dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruit, spices, hops, malt, and hints of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, hops, spices, malt, and a bit of caramel, leading to a bitter finish.
