Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma: hazelnuts, wood barrels, burnt caramel and roasted malts. Taste: roasty hazelnuts, vanilla and bourbon. Creamy palate.

Can at home.. Dark black... Thin tan lacing lacing.. Soft sweet nutty sweet creamy chocolate roast malts nose. Dark sweet vanilla hazelnut... Light toughy chilli

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, a touch of caramel and vanilla, brandy, herbal overtones with a touch of woodruff. Taste is sweet caramel malty, roasty dark malty and minimally alcoholic, notes of caramel, dark caramel, cocoa, chocolate, a touch of vanilla, brandy, woodruff interludes; lingering, slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Clean, focussed, cocoa dominated, a tad too sweet - very nice liquid confection.

Black with creamy head. It's thick and oily and sticky sweet. Elements of sweetened coffee. Warming. A bit too sweet.
