10/6/2023. Can shared at SBGP3. From Craft Metropolis, Penge. Pours black with a small frothy deep tan coloured head. Aroma of peanut, peanut butter, roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, cocoa and carob. Quite sweet, moderate to medium bitterness. Full bodied, slick and sticky, soft carbonation. Slightly clammy finish. Very liquid Snickers.

Smells overpoweringly of peanuts, flavor is much more balanced. Sweet, nutty, and thick mouthfeel. Thanks Graham B.

Panda at the holiday cottage in Honeybourne, thanks to Fergus, 08/09/22. Black with a decent khaki covering. Nose is full on nuts, peanut butter brittle, hazelnut, Cadburys Whole Nut, dark malts, light spice. Taste comprises bitter sweet flavours, nutty, praline, peanut, chocolate, spice, mellow roast, charr. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost and maintaining a bitter edge to balance. Tidy enough impy.

Can at home picked up from Cotteridge wines. A thick jet black coloured pour with a decent mid tan head. Aroma is intense toasted nuts, peanut butter, alcohol, jammy berries, dark chocolate. dark chocolate cake. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky chocolate fudge cake, berry culee, hazelnut, chocolate syrup, marshmallow. Palate is very sweet, sickly, sticky, oily, Good, but a bit too sweet for me.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from, I think, Premier Hop. Pours black with a creamy, beige-brown head. Medium sweet flavour, some burnt peanuts, roast, earth, cocoa. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, more vague burnt peanuts, burnt marshmallows, baking cocoa. Drinkable but it’s really basic pastry.
