An all English malt driven quad paying homage to the classic Belgian style. Brewed with the outrageous Paer Smedsbo Slott who emerged from the depth of Sweden’s north forests where networks die and the wolves howl.
Full bodied with complex dark fruit esters, a light caramel sweetness and a rich ripe stone fruit plum piquancy.

Draught @ MBCC '19 [ Blue Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2019, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark.[ As Wylam English Quad ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, bread, dried fruit, caramel - toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, dried fruit, bread, caramel - toffee, light woody bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190510] 7-3-7-3-15

On tap at MBCC '19, blue session. Dotted spots on the glass from a low beige head. Cloudy dark orange coloured body. Mid-sweet smell of dried fruits and caramel malts. Mixed taste character with toffee, bread and dried fruits. Bittersweet lingering end. Well bodied. Pleasantly smooth. (Copenhagen 10.05.2019).

Tap. Hazy dark amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is raisins, prunes, heavy dried fruits. Taste is the same. Sticky sweet, but still somehow drinkable. Tasty enough.
