I din hand håller du ett hanterk från Wetterstadens Bryggeri. Gyllene Eken är en så kallad SMASH, single malt and single hop, vilket innebär att den är bryggd på en sorts malt och en osrts humle. Malten är en klassisk Vienna-malt, humlen är en amerikansk Calypso och jästen är en fruktig, amerikansk ale-stam. Ölen är ofiltrerad vilket gör den något opak.

Bottle at Zagreb summer gathering 2023. Thanks Per! Clear bright yellow color white head. Aroma of dusty lemon. Taste is lightly bitter lightly peppery mixed citrus.

Bottle at RBESG GT 2023. Rather thin, med-high carbo. Unpleasant chlorphenol, medicinal, perfumey character. Not the greatest.

Thx to Nisse666 for this bottle - Eurto Swap 1/22. Hazy, amber color and a nice off-white head. Fruity nose with hints of soapyness, ah maybe faint perfume. Floral and fruity flavors over nice maltyness. a touch of perfum, decent bitterness.

ABV: 5.3%. Light light cloudy medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light hoppy, fruity hops, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, cookie, fruity malt - fruity hops, pale malt, light yeasty, light herbs. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20211229]

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Cloudy golden, rich firm head. Aroma of oak and saw dust. Midd ry with light body and rounded, creamy mouthfeel. Fruity with white bread, sawdust and oak. Mid bitter finish. Interesting and pleasant.
