It all starts with a complex malt bill. A generous vienna / munich base. The best dark malts and rye for roundness. A long fermentation follows, followed by an even longer lagering. The result is pure and elegant, polished by time...

0.33l can. Black body with a quickly disappearing brown head. Bold cocoa and sour cherry notes in the aroma and the taste so as wood, hints of smoke and some floral hops. It leaves a long lasting floral hoppy and chocolate taste after the sip. Nice one for sure.

can. super nice porter aroma, roasted malts, hard roasted malts, wood and sour woodiness, coffee. a little bit sourish in the aroma, but at least from the aroma, the sourness resembles the kind of sourness you might get from wood. or tartness. it's subtle but adds a lot of complexity. flavor is hard roasted malty, faint vanilla, coffee, heavy roasted malty and coffee bitterness, woody note, faint brown sugar note. bone dry and very complex baltic porter. super nice.

Poured from the tap. Black with small tan head. Lots of roast, feint fruit and chocolate with a touch of tobacco. Rich mouthfeel. A decent sipper.

Tap at the brewery. Med-full body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, medium sweetness, nice equal balance. Fully roasty malty character, nice mix of equal cocoa, coffee, light toffee. Easy drinking, pretty good.

A black beer, a head is medium and light brown. Aroma has chocolate, roastiness, light coffee. Taste has strong maltyness, chocolate, some caramel and roastiness of coffee, also harsh notes of rye. Medim+ bodied. Balanced and rich.

Can picked up from the brewery in Brussels and consumed at home Monday 9th May 2022 around Jude and Baz's at Spond, Nr Kington, Herefordshire. Pours black with a light tan head. This is liquorice all the way, roasted malts, a little chocolate and coffee join in the party but make no mistake this is a liquorice laden beer.

Can. Dark brown color with beige-ish head. Aroma is chocolate, mild graininess, smooth, nice balance. Taste is the same. Really solid Baltic Porter! Velvety mouthfeel with smooth mouthfeel. Great stuff!
