Pitch-black beer with a rim one bubble thick; pours like lava. Mix of roast, almonds and pine. In the end, the marzipan wins. First impression almost as dessert wine. Gradually towards the finish hints of juniper branch, juniper berries and dark leaves. Hyper dense, heavy, sticky, alcoholheat. Eating & drinking alike. Less pastry than many, but still too sweet for me. Thanks to Stef!

O/o värlsdbryggeriet Imp stout provas med brewery . Doftar nötter , lite rostat. I munnen först choklad och sen smackar beskt torrt kaffe in. Jävligt mycket kaffesump blev det. Fy fan.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with rich beige head. Aroma of dark berries and dark chocolate. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrup and dark berries, some chocolate. Mildly warming finish. Reasonably complex, but sweetness gets the upper hand.

Black with a minimal light brown head. A licorice aroma with some coffee, roasted malt and slightly dried fruit senses. Sweet with a good licorice, dried fruits and coffee end.

Bottle at Ratebeer Odense, November 2019. Black with a lasting tan head. Roasted aroma with sweet licorice, chocolate and coffee beans with a touch of spice. Sweet roasted flavour with hard roasted, ashy notes.
