MBCC 2023 Copenhagen, Green Session. Clear amber beer. Aroma and Taste of dried fruits, caramel, vanilla, very sweet.

MBCC 2023 on tap. Coffee bean color with an ivory lacing. Nose: English malty start with dried prunes. Mouth: lovely charming passito-led feel, dried fruit with a mild bitter finish.

650 ml bottle, 2019 vintage. Dark brownish-copper body, with a tiny, tan head. Aroma of bourbon barrel, toffee, dried fruits, sherry, moderate chocolate. Tastes quite similar, with even more fruits, honey. Thick, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes medium boozy, quite sweet, fruity, with bourbon barrel, sherry, toffee. Quite classic Barley Wine, heavy and sweet, but rich and really intersting. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

Medium body, a bit oily, sweet, boozy. Toffee, raisins, bourbon, oak barrel, smooth and rich. Delicious.

Dark brown with off white head - Dark malt and wood barrel aroma - Dark malt body with dark fruity flavours with some wood barrel flavours and alcohol heat - The dark malt with dark fruity flavours and alcohol goes into the finish - This was good

Poured from 650mL bottle at Black Xmas. Mahogany brown with small beige head. Lots of dark dried fruit, raisin, slightly syrupy, but quite enjoyable.

Refrigerated bomber poured into a glass. Dark brown with small beige. Aroma is caramel, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is rich caramel.

Draught, taster. @MBCC 2021, Copenhagen (Denmark). 23/10/2021 [#4.454 Global - #545 United States of America - #2 Fremont Brewing Company] Pours dark brown with a tan head. Smooth and very balanced. Rye, barrels and raisins. Full bodied. Next one please!
