Light copper colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of sweet malts. Lovely smokiness. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

Borefts XII. Day 1. Clear deepish gold beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Thin but crisp creamy malts, a trace of malt cream. Good ripe fruits and a nice amount of soft rounded white smoke. Quite a crisp fruity finish. Yeah a very good smokey job.

7-3-8-4-16 Bottle, eight months before bbd. Pours slightly hazy orange, with a big creamy off white head. Aroma is sweetish, smoked malts with bread, toffee and honey, as well as dried fruits and sausages. Full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is smoked malts with dark bread, caramel and burned sugar, as well as dried fruits, wooden notes and meat. Herbal notes and heather throughout the finish. Balanced and moreish.

Draught, half pint. @Peders, Copenhagen (Denmark). 13/05/2022 [#4.950 Global - #128 Sweden - #1 Närke Kulturbryggeri (My Swedish brewery #33)] Pours amber to orange with a white head. Aroma: Smoked malts, ham and bread. Taste: raisins, brown bread, smoked malts and caramel. Rich malty mouthfeel. Next one please!

Bottle from SB. Cloudy amber with white head. Creamy texture. Charcuteries, ash, some herbal bitterness. Easy drinking.

330ml Bottle - Hazy amber in colour. Smoked malt, rye, leather, sultanas and some boozy notes in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with the smoky notes of ash and smoked ham combining well with the fruity, malty and slightly sweet notes of raisins, caramel and dates. Impressive.

Flaska från SB. Aningen disig bärnstensfärgad vätska med medelhögt krämigt vitt skum. Doft av rökt chark. Mjuk och fyllig och relativt torr och drickvänlig vilket är oväntat med tanke på att det ändå är en rököl på 8%. Men torrheten, den runda kroppen, den mjuka rökigheten och snälla beska och att allt harmonierar så väl gör det riktigt god och drickvänlig.
