Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some wooden tones with mild nutty elements. Flavour is biscuity, some mild nutty and wooden tones with a wee bit of herbs and earth. Nice lingering sweetish bitterness in the finish.

Ljust bärnstensfärgad lätt disig vätska med lågt och finbubbligt skum. Bröd och lite mjukkaka i aromen. Kakigheten återkommer i smaken och matchas av en rejäl näve beska. Mjuk munkänsla.

ABV: 4.5%. Cloudy - hazy medium amber yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, sweet malt, fruity, fruity nuts. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity nuts bitter, sweet malt, caramel, hay - straw, fruity malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210530]

Bottle, many thanks Nische! Pours not-quite-fully-hazy amber color with creamy dense eggshell head. Aroma is toffee malts, hay, decently earthy, some marmalade. Taste is breadcrust, earthy hops, a touch roasted even, a touch bitter orange in the back, quite juicy marmalade. Super velvety mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Very classic experience, excellent!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy pale nut brown, mid sized head. Bready nose with some floral hay. Dry with light to mediu body and crisp, firm mouthfeel. Solid, crisp bread, covered in hay-like hops. Mid bitter finish. Very harmonious and drinkable.

Flaska från SB. Disig bärnstensfärgad vätska som drar åt gyllengult med högt smutsvitt skum. Doft av rostade nötter, bröd och blommor. Riktigt bra kropp med dnygga maltsmaker, typiskt brittisk smakbild med blommor, mineraler och lite maskrosbeska som gifter sig fint med sötman från malt. En riktigt bra Best bitter.
