500ml Bottle - Gold/amber in colour. Lemon, Grapefruit and pineapple feature in the pleasantly citric aroma. Hoppy taste with some spicy malt notes. Grapefruit and tea feature in the taste with a very faint aniseed element. The finish is hoppy with moderate bitterness and sweetness.

Bottled (BB 06/2010). Clear golden color, small steady white head. Light citrus hoppy, honeyish nose with notes of clovers. Crisp carbonation. Honeyish malty flavor, aftertaste has typical British hoppy bitterness. Probably wheat softens the palate a bit. Standard session golden ale, let’s say: "not bad".

Bottle from Sainsbury. Golden, lots of carbonation. Thick lasting ivory head. Attractive grassy hop aroma. It’s ok in mouth. Like a hundred other golden ales, grassy hop, some lemon on finish. Decent hop and lemon curd on finish. Bit better than average.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Amber with a thin white head; citrus aroma; sharp citrus bitter flavour with a grapefruit finish. Straightforward, but a good example of the style.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Golden coloured with a decent white head and plenty of carbonation. Aroma of apricots, hay and floral hops. Sweetish, chewy malt flavours with a hint of graininess and plenty of hops in the finish. Very drinkable.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, some wood and dark dry fruits. Flavour is much the same. Quite bittery fruity finish.
