This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 8–12-year-old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel-aged Winter Ale. This special edition adds toasted coconut to complement the bourbon, oak, cacao, leather, toffee, and dark coffee notes achieved from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. Please do enjoy this unique barrel-aged ale today but know that Coconut Edition B-Bomb will age gracefully for years to come. Don’t Be Afraid To Be Abominable.

2019 bottle shared by Erik on his B-day. Full body, but not too full. Med-light carbonation, but not too light.high sweetness, med-high roasted bitterness, medium soft warmth, everything very pleasantly rounded and held just shy of being too much. Loads of chocolate, cocoa, med-high coffee, toffee, coconut. Moderate bourbon and woody and med-light vanilla flavours. Very very pleasant sipper, great beer. Complex, intense, yet with perfect balance.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large brown foamy head. Aroma of strong coconut notes with some sweet caramelized malt and chocolate notes is quite enticing. Taste is a mix of strong coconut notes with sweet caramelized malt notes and some chocolate notes. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. Very enjoyable if you like coconut.

2019 bottle thanks to AJ. Pours black with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong toasted coconut, vanilla, wood, bourbon, and dark chocolate. Slick body, roasted malt, dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla, boozy finish, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.
