33cl Bottle from Beer Company Hattyu. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of grain, some spruce, cat piss, passion fruit, hint of toast, melon. Flavour is light sweet, light floral, hint of caramel, grain, spruce/pine, cat piss, light fruity, resinous/herbal bitter finish with some alcohol. Light bodied. Not a hop I particularly like, as it turns out.

Draught @ Eleszto, Budapest. Pours dark golden with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma of light malt, rich tropical fruit, grapes, pineapple, peach. Flavor is light malt, fruit, grass, peach, wine grapes, pineapple. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 290315

On tap at Jónás Kézműves Sörház, Budapest. Pours orange with off-white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Malty caramel and citrus fruity flavor with dry bitter finish. Nice IPA.

Huge offwhite lasting head. Clear yellow body with carbonation. Spicy strawy resiny aroma with wild berry and gooseberry notes. Dry resiny gooseberry taste with spicy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish resiny fruity wooden aftertaste with gooseberry jam notes. Lingering dry spicy wooden fruity finish. Wow. This is excellent. (0.33l bottle, from somewhere in Budapest.)

Pours some sort of amber, just a bit of foam. Nose has mainly sweet malts, caramel. Seems that hop presence has faded by a large extent - if it was ever there in the aroma. Taste has some substantial bitterness, so there are definitely a lot of hops in this beer. Clean, dry and not so fruity taste - what you would actually not expect from the nose. Aftertaste also dry. Clean finish leaves some lingering resiny bitterness.

Thanks to my Summer Secret Santa MisoW for that bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, very very yeasty, huge head. Starts moldy-malty due to all the yeasty. Hoppy bitter background, some grapefruit notes. Finish could be more balanced, dry and bitter. Not my favourite.

Draught at Kandalló Kézműves Pub, Budapest, on June 21, 2014.Clear golden color, white head, much lacing. Sweet, hoppy, green, fruity, estery scent. Hoppy, fruity, bitter, candy (hard) taste. Hard candy aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

On tap at Szimpla Kavezó. Lovely murky peachy body with a lasting white head. Dank hoppy aroma, slightly yeasty-bready, mild peachy notes. The taste... wow! Lovely, hoppy aromatics, without too much bitterness. Fruity notes dominate. Something tropical I couldn’t name - only that I’m sure that some Fanta had used that flavor at some point. Mango? Currant? Random thoughts, none seem right. But damn, this was delectable. Surprisingly lovely beer.

On tap at Élesztő Budapest. Orange coloured, small off-white head, pleasant fresh hoppy nose. Moderate malty, strong grapefruity hoppy and slight caramel with dryish bitter hoppy finish. Quite nice.
