On draft at the strait and narrow Lincoln. Jet black colour with a tan head. Aroma toasty and marshmallow with plenty of bourbon kick. Full on and sweet taste. Smooth light milk sweet finish.

Huge thanks Alena! Pitch black, some everlasting traces of a tan-ochre head. Chocolate, bourbon touches, sweet, spicy touches, vanilla? Dry bitter chocolate, vanilla and bourbony notes, soft and sweetish, but going in a dry bitterish black chocolate finish. Surprisingly lean and not too sweet by all means! This is excellent!

Keg at BMT - Hackney. Pours deep brown with a moderate, foamy beige head. Medium to big sweet flavour, some cooling int, bittersweet chocolate, hints of burnt vanilla pods, bitter coffee. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly sticky, more bittersweet cocoa, scorched earth, an awkward minty note. A bit scattered but drinkable enough.

On tap at The Jolly Fisherman Hastings. Pitch black beer lasting tan head. Smells of bourbon dark chocolate ice cream . Some marshmallow. dark chocolate I mean its ridiculous but delicious at the same time. sweet. some bourbon booze. almost mint menthol aroma. I mean its huge fun and worth a fiver for a third of a pint.ended up quite fruity blackcurrant.

On tap – Pours a black colour with a small frothy tan head. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, chocolate and malts. A smooth sweet chocolatey taste, lots of chocolate flavours, dark milk chocolate, fudge and cocoa powder but also vanilla, toasted marshmallows and roasted malts with some bitterness and a woody bourbon finish. Very rich a little goes a long way.

On tap. Pours black with little head. Aromas of cinnamon, dark chocolate, soft bourbon and slick roasted malts. Rich sweet flavors follow same with additional spice, nougat and a little coconut. Tasty.

Keg from Brewdog Soho. From soft serve. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma is woody bourbon biscuit, bourbon woody roast, vanilla, some jammy fruits.. Loads of fun.. Flavour is composed of bitter woody roast, booze, cakey malts, dried fruits,, peacsn, boozy fruit cake.. Palate is medium sweet, lightly tangy, moderate carbonation.. So rich.

Keg at Brewdog, Manchester. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is caramel, treacle toffee, orchard fruit. Taste is creme caramel, toffee, toffee apple. Sweet malty finish. Nice.
