Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers! Pours clear deep brown with a creamy, khaki head. Light sweet flavour with forward tangy dark fruits, a little funk, earth, old leather. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Leathery tart berries to finish, a little sharp tang, earth. Not bad.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Fergus. A light haze on this deep amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, a little dark chocolate sits awkwardly against tart fruits. A light and semi dry finish. Don't hate it but, don't really want it either.

Bottle at BBT 2/2022. Pretty sharp acetic acid dominates the character here, right from aroma into the first sip and everything afterwards. Almost everything else is killed here. Thin body and med-high carbonation, lots of sourness. Med-high generally fruity feeling, but otherwise mostly vinegar. The balance is completely off here, the beer is not bad, but does not live up to the commercial description at all. Does not feel like stout, no vanilla, cherries are lost in the mix, not at all harmonic.
