Bottle, smallish head, dark brown color with a hint of reddish hues, lots of cherries, vanila, dried cherries, raspberries and a whiff of chocolate, sour cherries with some lacto overpowering everything with maybe a hint of chocolate managing to make itself known, sourness is so strong it leaves an unpleasant dry sensation. The beer itself is unbalanced and though really interesting is difficult to drink.

On tap at BrewDog Soho Black beer thin tan head. sour cherry. a bit too sour maybe. some chocolate impy stout but mostly just heavy sour. not unpleasant but fairly hard work. needs more impy stout less sour to work.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas' place. Black. Cherry, a bit of vanilla, funk, oak, a bit of butterscotch, dulce le leche notes, sour and slightly sweetish. Very good.

Bottled 500ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Black coloured, small beige head, sour cherry nose. Sour cherries, vanilla, light chocolate and oak with discreet touch of marzipan. Light acidity in the finish. Pleasant.

Lukter tydelig kirsebær, noe vanilje og sjokolade. Svart med brunt skum. Middels fylde. Tidlig sur og sprudlende. Sure kirsebær, lime, mørk sjokolade og trevirke. Lang sur.

Crowler from Brewdog Inverurie. It pours darkest brown with a purple hue and decent light brown head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sweet - sour, rich roasted malt, coffee cake, chocolate, tangy ripe cherry, jammy, vinous aspect and some vanilla on the back end. The taste is tart and tangy upfront, juicy sour cherry, splash of cherry cola, Dr Pepper, fizzy cherry bottles, toasty, coffee grounds, cacao nibs, black forest gateaux and drys out and gets roasty through the finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite fun and has a nice balance (I usually find their sour stouts a bit acidic tbh). Reminds me of fizzy cherry cola bottles.
