Beer share at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury; 11th June 2018. 33cl bottle (BB Sep 2018), cheers Simon for this offering. Big white head on the cloudy golden body. Hoppy brew with a tropical fruit nose and taste, even though it was packed with hops and holds plenty of alcohol I thought it had a light, summery, fresh feel to it.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, courtesy of Simon who assures us this is super fresh. Pours a misty yellow, off-white head. Aroma seems extremely hoppy, green hop, pine, dank. Taste is dank, piney, citrusy with a relatively light body, medium bitterness and thankfully no hop burn for once. Extremely satisfying, fresh DIPA. Went well with Raw Power the band, though the others wouldn't let me play more than one track.

Hotel Room tasting. Hazy orange - gold beer, small cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts bring a mild sweetness. Thin and spicy orange juice, touch of tangerine. Trace of lemon. Spicy and fairly dry finish. Long spicy linger. Hoppy enough but a little thin in the mouthfeel.3.6

Has developed nicely, much smoother. Very nice cooling pine well Integrated with sweestish citrus. Tropical fruits in the background. A background spirity note of something actually enhances this. Light crisp spicy finish. Proves once again that these modern dipas don't need to be chugged immediately.
