Blueberry Boy is the first beer of its kind to come out of Equilibrium. It’s an idea we came up with during a visit with Jeppe, found it hilarious, and felt it was the perfect way for hopheads to celebrate the annual Blåbær release on home turf. This TIPA was aggressively hopped with Mosaic and Belma, and conditioned on blueberries with a touch of lactose. Blueberry Boy pours a vivid fuschia color and has an aroma of fruity citrus, blueberry skin and an earthy minerality. The flavor is citrus, blueberry flesh and earth and even finishes with our EQ juice. The body of this beer flows freely and makes it extremely crushable for a fruited triple. It has a pointed bitterness but a very smooth finish and the blueberry is the last thing you taste as you go in for another sip.

Pours hazy reddish with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, berry, grapefruit and plum. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, grapefruit and berry finsih. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Medium off-white head over hazy yellow-ochre beer. Citrus², bit of ureum, green herbs. More ureum, other grains, faint fruit (rather than the corresponding esters). Long lasting hop/citrusflavours. Very slick, oily, medium carbonation. Quite good as an IPA. IMHO, the fruit doesn't come out very much, might pack more punch. Thanks to M&L!

1 pint can, canned 04/29/2019. Deep red-purple body, with a small, dissipating, frothy, slightly pink head. Aroma of grapefruit, red and dark berries, dankness, grass, some stone fruits. Tastes similar, a bit sweeter. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes warm, medium bitter, quite dry, a bit sweet, zesty, piney, grassy, with some sweet berries, some stone fruits. Nice, while not that special. A bit messy, with bitter and sweet notes not too balanced and with a bit too much alcohol towards the finish. The blueberries aren't too obvious, just some sweet berries noticeable. Not bad overall. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 14

Tap@Himmeriget, Copenhagen (09/05/2019) - pours red with a pinkish white head. Fruity and hoppy with some blueberry fruity notes throughout, light vanilla sweetness, medium body, hoppy blueberry tinged fruity finish.

Pours a hazy, red-orange, with minimal head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, some berry (very little, to be honest). It's pretty dank. Flavors include citrus, tropical fruit, some hop-pine bitterness. Again, the blueberry is pretty minimal in the flavor. There is a touch of alcohol-burn, but this is very slight, given the high ABV. Really, the blueberry addition does little more than give this a different color from your typical NE-style DIPA. Either bump it up some more or forget it, I'd say.

Ani to ipa, ani piwo owocowe, ma jakas nieprzyjemna, ciut piolunowa goryczke, czy moze raczej posmak. Jest do tego wodniste. I costam jeszcze dziwnego, kapke szmacianego w aromacie. Oj niezbyt. Ale za to ladniutka pucha :)
