Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted, coffee, some toffee and mild liquorice. Flavour is liquorice, coffee, cream, some vanilla and mild fudgelike notes. Alcohol in the finish. Very smooth and easy to drink.

Fles gedeeld door Keukeman en gedronken met Tomhendriksen en Benzai. Diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met weinig schuim, een beetje olie-achtig / stroperig in het glas. Aroma van ahornsiroop en koffie. Volle smaak van koffie, gebrande mout, chocolade en siroop. Plakkerig in de mond. Nasmaak is fruitig van zwarte kersen pruimen en bosbessen.

Fles gedeeld door Keukeman, geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Inoven en Benzai. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met weinig tot geen schuim. Het heeft een aroma van ahornsiroop en koffie. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, koffie chocolade en ahornsiroop.
Aardig pilsje.. flink wat koffie en chocolade, romig, zoet, lekker spul

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, small head. Huge aroma of coffee and maple syrup. Very sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Intense coffee flavour, maple syrup is ever present. Warming finish. Lovely at first sip, but there is precious little else than coffee and maple syrup to find. Gets a bit oversweet as you go. Imagine this toned down and letting some malt and yeast character through.

ABV: (10.5)%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, maple, light to moderate bourbon - barrel - vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, maple, tobacco, sweet malt, dark malt, coffee, roasted - coffee, bourbon - barrel - vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210922]

From bottle (650ml) @ Pien Shop, Helsinki. Poured oily and thick black liquid. Feels quite heavy on the barrel at first. Lots of coffee, roastedness and with maple in the finish. Warming.

650ml bottle @ Pien Shop, Helsinki. Sweetish, heavy and slightly roasty with loads of coffee, bourbon, oak, toffee, maple syrup, chocolate and cocoa. Quite nice barrel notes here. Balanced and tasty, good stuff.
