Slightly vegetal nose, Nice complex flavor, decently balanced but still pretty honey-sweet overall. Honestly I was just finalizing the review when the PC went to sleep. What fantastic timing, somehow the website didn't save all that supremely detailed description I'd typed. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable beer as I remember.

Bottle, many thanks Nicklas! Unclear deep golden-amber color with white head. Aroma is deep honeycomb, white sugar, intensely sweet, too much for me. Taste is honeycomb, earthy, white sugar, sticky stuff. A bit too much for me, but true to style.

Flaska från SB. Klar mörkt gyllenfärgad vätska med lågt smutsvitt skum. Doft av karamell, honung och bröd. Stor kropp, rejäl sötma, stort smakdjup och mjuk och len kropp. Tänker snarare strong ale än bock eftersom det inte har så mycket säd och brödkaraktär. Klara balansen bra, mycket p g a att smakdjup men det finns en fin mjuk växande beska med drag av syltade citrusskal. Mycket gott

Flaska. Mycket hö, sirapslimpa och karamell. Lätt kryddig, typ fänkål. Alkoholen lurar i bakgrunden, man känner att det är starkt men den tar inte över. Mjuk munkänsla.

ABV: 6.8%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, rich, marzipan malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, marzipan malt, rich, malty, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210506]

330ml Bottle - Golden/light amber with a white head. Grass, honey and hints of aniseed in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with notes of grass, aniseed, herbs and honey plus some faint yet noticeable hints of citrus and caramel. In some ways it is complex and in some ways it is pretty straightforward, but it is a very interesting and enjoyable interpretation of this style.
