Can that Jonas & Ursula brought, cheers you two! Had this Friday 13th February moving into Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Snapped Ankles - Come Play the Trees. Jonas cooked Pasta Carbonara, it was fab'. Pours hazy gold with a large white sticky head. Nice bitterness, fresh and with a buzzy edge, fresh, green and zippy., bitterness at the edges, hippy, I like this. Score 7.3

0.33l can, Mangled Ham 2026, huge thanks Jonas! Hazy golden body, white head. Orange jelly aroma, sweetish, some spruce touches. Lean, but sweetish taste, heaps of spruce on orange jelly again, bitterish herbal finish, lasts towards the aftertaste. Good one!

From Frastanz rampenverkauf, best before 05/25, one of my last can of 2025, at Epalinges, not disappointed, really fruity note of strawberry, red fruitz, bitter, citrus, malt, yeasty, smooth, floral hop.

Can at work, courtesy of the Bierol crew. Darker golden pour with a quickly diminishing head. Nose is huge tutti-frutti candy (avagy magyaroknak: zizi), kinda fruity, kinda sweet, with a hint of zest and green pine that becomes more apparent as it warms, but the candy notes dont go away. Flavor is more pine and less candy, a bit dank, pleasantly dry but all in all quite old and slightly oxidated. I could see how this is a fairly decent beer when fresh

21/XI/24 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 5/V/25, #1465-66, 1032050824 (2024-1215)
Pretty clear orange blond beer, some small debris floating around under a big solid creamy off-white to yellowish head, stable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, lots of tropical fruits, juicy, piny, resinous, sugary, sweet impression, pineapple, tropical fruit flavoured bubble gum. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness up front, very piny, resinous, harsh bitterness, some tropical fruits, bubble gum. Aftertaste: nice, very bitter, resinous, a little fruity, some caramel, malts, pleasant one!

Herbal, piney but misses the forest for a spruce beer

Trüb bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, hopfiger Geruch.

Mittellanger Abgang. Gut! 9/11/12/11//11
