Draught@Pub Winston 2020. Ruby red colour with a small off-white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, some alcohol and mild spices with also quite much ripe fruit sweetness. Flavour is somewhat bitter with fruitiness, but also has a huge malty edge to it with toffee, caramel and some biscuity tones. Hides the alcohol well.

3/6/2022. Can courtesy of Mart, cheers! Pours hazy dull mid-brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, biscuit, booze, dried fruits, bread, nut, nutmeg, prune, caramac. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, average carbonation. Warming finish, just a touch harsh, but still enjoyable.

A dark brown beer, a head is quite big and blond. Aroma has dried fruitness of prune, some caramel and metallic notes. Taste has dried fruit, raisin, prune, but quite dry anyway, some rough notes of rye. Almost full bodied. Somehow unfinished and thus not so enjoyable as could be.

ABV: 9.0%. Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, bread, caramel, dried fruit, malty, light wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, dried fruit, malty, caramel, sweet malt, light wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear copper colour, small head. Aroma of caramel and dark berries. Mid dry with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Husky and caramelly with figs and pears. Tanninic with some peppery calvados and ouzo in the finish. Unusual subtly complex barley wine. As it warms, so much is happening.

330ml can from brewery. Mahogany colored beer. Malty, warming and bready with clear notes of raisins. Smooth and malty, good and pleasant barley wine. Sweet finish.
