0.44l can, courtesy of Elvis. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel, chocolate, dried fruit and vanilla. Pours pitch black color with medium sized soapy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with rich roasted malt, smooth oats and chocolate, follows by coffee, vanilla, dark fruit and ash, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Can @ Telfords. Close to pitch black body under a big, foamy beige head. Aroma has dark malt, roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is very smooth, mild roasted, dark malt, some coffee and dark chocolate and medium bitterness. Balanced body with a smooth, nice aftertaste as well. Nice and tasty stout without any nonsense that shouldn’t be able to offend anyone.
Farge: Klar, sort med rødlig skjær og beige skum
Aroma: Røstet malt, kaffebønner, mørk sjokolade, skogsbær og et hint mot røyk i bakkant.
Smaker: Fin sødme og god fylde i en klassiske havrestout. Det røstede maltet driver frem gode smaker av ristet brød, mørk sjokolade, høy, tørkede frukter og lær, mens kaffen gir en fruktighet med skogsbær. Florlett røyksmak i bakkent her også.

330ml can from Beer52. Black with small tanned head. Aroma has the roasted malts, an interesting smokiness but quite sweet also, light berry hint. Taste is malty, roasty, charcoal, blueberries with a dry smoky finish, touch of liquorice. Medium bodied. Good, nice level of complexity.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Moderate aroma of lightly roasted malts, oatmeal and dark chocolate. Flavour of roast malts, oatmeal, mild coffee and chocolate. Fairly decent beer.

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. Seems quite clear in the glass, dark brown in color and with a dense light beige head. The aroma has coffee, roasted malts and some dark bread crust, oats and hints of dark chocolate. It's medium to full-bodied, both dry and sweet in a way, quite cream, with dark chocolate, roasted malts and coffee doing most of the flavor work. Medium length finish. A pleasant stout indeed. 240801

Draught at Bryggerifestivalen 2024. Shared with yngwie. Good lacing from a fawn-coloured head, almost black in the glass. Inviting smell of chocolate malts, smoothly roasted. Well balanced malt-forwards taste with impacts of oatmeal and chocolate. Slightly roasted malty ending. Medium bodied. Smooth on the swallow. Like it. (Trondheim, 01.08.2024).
