Batch 40 is geblend in November 2020.

22nd September 2022 Bottle at Arends Nest. Light haze on this deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin but decent creamy malts, a touch of caramel. A little dry wood and a nice touch caramel. Modest red berry fruits. Yeah, not a big punchy berry fruit affair. A light dry yeasty sweet affair. A bit of a disappointment.

Bottle shared. Bit hazy amber with beige head. Soft apple, caramel, sherry, figs, soft booze, dry oak. Solid sweet, boozy bitter. Over medium bodied.

0.375l bottle many thanks to Lore. Hazy reddish brown body with a lasting beige head. The woody character is quite pronounced in the aroma. It's rounded by dried fruity notes(raisins, prunes), a bit of booze and some spices like nutmeg and cloves. Taste of candi sugar, nutmeg, raisins, orange zest, wood, booze and pears. Complex brew, perfect company of the New Year's Eve's dinner.

hazy brown colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma of dried sour cherry soaked into cognac, dark chocolate, some coconuts, sherry, and red port wine; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with spicy alcoholic aftertaste; great quadrupel

Clear light brown colour. The sweet banana aroma is masked somewhat by the wood. Flavour is sweet but has rounded fruity notes. This one is nice but not so far away from the base beer.

Bottle shared with my brother for his birthday. Hazy brownish color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, sweet malts, caramelized sugars. Flavor is malts, brown malts, caramel and caramelized sugars, maybe even a spice / herbal hint. Cinnamon-ish? Decent to medium body, medium carbonation. Hmm not really convinced by this one. Qlright but not one of my favorites.
