Clear dark purple brown to almost black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: dark chocolate, coffee, more roast. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: good roast, coffee, a little sweet, some coffee, a bit oxidized, dried fruits, bitter. Aftertaste: pretty dry, oxidized touch, more roast, bitter, coffee.

Keg at Indy Man Beer Fest, Manchester 2022. This was the Burundi Nemba edition. Pours black with a tan head. Roast malts and cold brew coffee dominate, also some milk chocolate, nuts. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Can at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color with an off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, dark malts lightly, coffee. Flavor is malts, some roast, coffee, coffee bitterness in the finish. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Hmm okay.

500ml can from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Pitch black body, dissipating fawn-head, scattered lacing. Inviting aromas of roasted chocolate malts, hints of liquorice. Blended malt-forward taste of choco-coffee, earth, ash, and a fruity bite in the background. Smoothly roasted ending. Fine depth. Nice. (Tromsø 04.06.2022).
