Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - matt black and a thin fawn head. Nose - coffee and dark chocolate. Taste - dark chocolate, and coffee grinds. Palate - medium bodied and roasty. Overall - decent.

Can from the Lancashire Bottle Shop. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate. Taste is roasty, lots of coffee. Fruity finish.

Can from RAD. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are sweet malty coffee and smooth. Nice rich body.

Creamy tan head stayed on a still black body. Coal, tar & tobacco aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the back. Coffee, dark spirits, malt & sweet berry tastes. Decent brew.

Canned from on tap at Made Inn and drunk at home. Dark unctious almost black beer no head Strong coffee aroma. Lots of coffee and chocolate on flavour. lots and lots of coffee some dryness on the finish. hides abv well. pretty decent. slight oil.

500ml can. Black with a thin brown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts. Taste is dominated by the coffee and roasted malts, dark malt/chocolate. Medium body, although a little thin for the strength, smooth.

Keg @ Marble Bewery, Salford Quays. Black with a very small head. It has less aroma than expected, but has plenty of gritty coffee in taste. It’s dense textured and has a notable strength evident within too.
