1&2 years old lambic with apricots
(o.a Bergeron) from the Ardeche in France.
This blend has a more sour profile than Moonwalk.

--

Just as we look every year for the specific barrels with a soft lambic and lactic touch for the Moonwalk, we also encounter other beautiful barrels during this tasting. In this blend we combine the soft lambic with a fresher lambic. These lambics “dance” together with the apricots in the fermentation tank. The apricots are also Bergerons from France. These apricots are characterized by their juicy and fleshy character with a deep flavor.

Bottle shared at "ZZT nieuw leven in blazen"-tasting. Unclear yellow golden color, aangetaste sized white head. Smell and taste are sourness, citrusy, clear sweet peach in the aroma. Overall is the flavor and mouthfeel is quite good, I expected it to be highly carbonated but it's quite okay. Very sour flavor still but overall quite okay.

Indeed slightly more sour, but this only makes the apricot a bit more juicy and refreshing, instead of sweet and soft. Equally delicious, just different. Still some light sweetness, lots of fruity freshness, and amazing flavour.

Hapu, puuviljane, virsikune, rohelised võrsed, suht happeline, veits vesine. Lõhn on supper, aga muidu on liiga happeline minu jaoks. 3.8.
