Bottle, end of BB date. Golden, light fizzy, eggshell foam. Juicy malt aroma, light fruit cake, a hint eggs. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel, light chewiness. Fruity base/fruit salad, some esters, a good chunk of flowery hops, almonds, unclean and fun Heller Bock.

Smooth malty beginning. Sticky sweetish with grainy cake. Fresh and sweet, mild with a sticky sweetish and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelgoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig fruchtig, grasig. Geschmack ebenfalls stark malzig, grasig, fruchtig, leicht alkoholisch.

0,5 l bottle out the kappldav123 box. Thanks a lot! Dark golden in the glass, mighty white head. Malt, plum and alcoholic on the nose.Starts with malt, plums, vanilla. Also the alcohol can not be overlooked. Mid sweetness. Later bitter almond and sticky. Not very complex in the aftertaste.

bottle from Bierzerg. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Spicy malty nose with a touch of alcohol. Full-bodied, intensive malty flavours with quite a robust sweetness, aromatic and bitter hops blend in towards the finish, as does a spicy and warming touch of alcohol.

500ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Cautious caramel malty aroma, a strawy touch, esteric overtones. Taste is minimally sweet malty with a slightly alcoholic and ester touch, strawy. Dis-inspirational.

Pours yellow. Aroma us sweet bread and fruit with some floral earthy and spicy hop character. Slightly spicy and bitter end. Soft and friendly mouthfeel. Nice enough.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very spicy and malty, not as sweet as exspected. Well balanced warming finish. The alcohol is well hidden. Not bad!

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a beautiful, lacing foamy white head. Sweet, grainy, cereal-like aroma with honey-fruity accents. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, crispy mf, Pale malty taste, light fruity notes; moderately sweet malty finish with a distinctive herbal hoppy note, especially in the aftertaste. Well-hidden but warming alcohol. Pleasant and well-crafted pale Doppelbock.
