Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Ace label. Who’s this Sparta nob ffs? Hazed straw colour. Very sticky lasting white foam. Solid logger bier. Nice citrusy edge. Well crisp and refreshing. Would smash regularly.

Bottle 50cl. @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Slightly unclear pale golden colour, fair frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, grain, light lemon, hayish hops, some yeast. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, hint of lemon, hay, yeasty notes. Medium body, oily texture, bit prickly mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering citrus notes, husky and light metallic notes, nice.

0,5 l bottle. Cloudy pale golden in the glass with a more than one finger foamy white head. Smooth pale grainy with caramel, some yeast on the nose. Taste is more on the grainy and caramel side, increasing dry bitterness, yeast elements, hints of citrus. Above average carbonated.

500ml bottle from Raynville. It pours crystal very pale gold with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy white bread, ice sponge cake, pie crust, custard tarts, rich tea biscuit and grain husk. The taste is crispy, dry upfront, bitter - sweet, sweet mid palate,...doughy white bread, biscuit, custard creams, savoury donuts, powdered sugar and then some grassy/leafy notes with a firmly dry finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Interesting journey from dry to sweet to dry. Overall it drinks a bit sweet, but it's quite unique.
