Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 30/04/22. Black with a tan head that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark chocolate, molasses, figs, dates, fruit loaf, spice, oak, booze tunes. Taste comprises sweet malts, chocolate dipped raisins, molasses, spice, mellow roast, toffee fudge, bit of heat offered. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light viscous feel, semi drying close spiked with a balanced rising boost. Decent impy ... packs a punch and sips well.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Wingman. A thick oily jet black coloured pour with a whispy dark tan head. Aroma is big meaty roast, burnt sugars, vanilla, burnt cake, meaty roast. Palate is medium sweet, sticky sweet, huge bodied, thick, oily, chewy. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, toasted brown sugars, mellow roast, marshmallow, Big and bold , meaty, Like it.

ABV: 13.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, smoked, dark chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, rich, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, smoked, sweet malt, dark chocolate, smooth. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20211218]

Appearance is oily, sludgy black, with a dark brown head which doesn’t last long. Aroma is chocolate, fudge, caramel sauce, tar, dark malts, rich coffee, cocoa, chocolate cake. Smells decadent. Taste is thick chocolate, brownie batter, chocolate fudge cake, caramel, toffee, thick chewy malt, sticky and sweet, coffee, syrupy fudge cake. Really thick and sweet, abv actually well-hidden. Chewy finish. Probably the thickest beer I’ve had.

Inky, viscous black body, thin brown head. Aroma inky, boozy chocolate. One of the fullest-bodied beers I have ever opened, almost syrupy, dominated by roast and chocolate with warming alcohol. My only complaint is the heavy emphasis on chocolate, which becomes a bit too much after more than a few ounces. Still, a luscious beauty.
