500ml bottle. Clear pink pour, some bubbles scattered on top and a slow moving carbonation, looks a bit lifeless. Big tangy stewed rhubarb aroma, some background ginger, not getting any apples. In taste, a fruity tangy rhubarb is evident, more mellow apples then combine before the heat of the ginger spice gives it a nice punchy kick. Quite sweet throughout. Light body, oily mouthfeel, moderate carbonation zing. For a supermarket cider this is actually quite good.

Bottle from Aldi Supermarket, Salford. Deeper clear pink colour. The rhubarb provides, the sweetness, the ginger provides a spicy kick, although ginger flavour is part of this cider's aftertaste. It's also evident in aroma.

500ml bottle from Aldi, Darlington. Clear bright pinkish red colour, white foamy head that quickly dissipates away to a thin rim and aroma of ginger, some rhubarb. Taste is sweet, gingery, rhubarb, sugary, and spicy, warming. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, sweet gingery peppery finish. OK, abit too sweet for me.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Clear crimson body, no head. Generic fruity nose with a bit of spice, taste picks up a tart rhubarb with a nice ginger warmth. Nice fizz.

50cl bottle from Aldi. Very thin ring white head. Clear light burgundy pour.
