From the sterk Amsterdam, a long time in my cellar. Opening it yesterday after a wonderful walk in the Jorat, cold and this beer was welcomed, full body, smooth, rich note of chocolate, vanilla, smooth.roasty malt, malty and bitter at the final.

KCan, 0.33l. Black pour, thin beige layer on top. Minimal lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, roasted malt, coffee, cocoa. Bready notes in the background. Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, creamy, chewy, thick. Balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, toasted caramel, bread, dark chocolate. Ashy, coal, smoke. Light fruity notes in the background. Long lasting finish, dry, liquory, lingering roasty bitterness. Tasty.

Can sample at a tasting at Odi's place. Thanks Max. Black. Roasted grains, coffee, some peat smokiness, charcoal, some dark chocolate, sweetish and umami, quite full-bodied, boozy.

Can 33cl. from Bier & Brouwsels @home poured into a tulip glass. Deep dark brown, very small moussy tan head, slowly diminishing, no lacing. Strong smooth aroma, roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, touch of wood, some peat and tar, alcohol notes. Remarkable soft and thick taste, light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, roast, coffee, chocolate, candy sugar, modest alcohol. Full-bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweet and light bitter aftertaste, coffee roast, bit sugary, ash notes, alcohol, well-balanced, very good stuff!

Can, huge thanks Kermis, shared with Hrabren, Ogi and me. Big, sharp aroma, coffee, light peat, light chocolate. Soft, lean taste, chocolate, light coffee, some light tobacco, dried figs, roast but not roasty in a way. Jammy slightly. A good, warming beer that avoids an alcohol hit and keeps drinkability for 12%.
